The Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA) and the Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission (FCAC) unanimously voted to select Stacy Lehman as the Executive Director of the Florida Accreditation Office (FAO) at the December 2022 meeting.
Director Lehman has been with FDLE for 29 years in a variety of roles. He began his career in the Criminal Justice Information Services Division, moving from there to the Professionalism Division, where he worked in both the Officer Records and State Officer Certification Examination sections. He then spent three years in the Investigation and Forensic Sciences Program as a Management Review Specialist before returning to manage the Administration Section of the State Officer Certification Examination Section for seven years. Recently, he served as the Training and Research Manager for the Professional Compliance Section, a position he held for almost thirteen years.
Director Lehman holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the Florida State University. He is married to Janet and has three daughters, Elizabeth, Catherine and Julia.
