
Chad Lucas
Program Manager
Chad Lucas has been with FDLE for 11 years in a variety of roles. He began his career in the Criminal Justice Information Services Division, where he worked in several positions within the Firearm Eligibility Bureau. In 2018, he moved to the Criminal Justice Professionalism Division, where he worked as a staff member for the State of Florida Medical Examiners Commission for 4 years. Most recently he worked for the Criminal Justice Professionalism Division’s Deputy Director’s Office, where he worked on special projects, helped establish and staff D.A.R.E. training conferences, was a member of the FDLE Accreditation Team building files for the agency’s CALEA off-site review, and was a member of FDLE’s Staff Inspections Unit conducting the agency’s annual staff inspections and evidence inventories as well as evidence inventories for external agencies.
Program Manager Lucas holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the Florida State University. He is married to Allison.
