Biography

Major Shaun Klucznik serves as the Judicial Services Bureau Commander and Jail Administrator at the Hernando County Sheriff's Office. With 27 years of experience in the criminal justice field, Major Klucznik holds dual certification in both corrections and law enforcement. Throughout his career at the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, Major Klucznik has held several key positions, including Judicial Services Captain, Special Operations Captain, Detention Operations Lieutenant, Special Operations Lieutenant, and Acting Human Resources Director. Major Klucznik is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Session 283, and the American Jail Association's National Jail Leadership Command Academy Class 10. Currently, Major Klucznik serves as the Second Vice President of the American Jail Association and as a Commissioner on the Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission. Major Klucznik is also a Certified Jail Manager through the American Jail Association and a Certified Correctional Executive through the American Correctional Association. In addition to his professional credentials, Major Klucznik holds an Associate of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from St. Petersburg College, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University, and a Master of Arts Degree in Philosophy from Saint John Vianney College Seminary in Miami.
