Major Shaun Klucznik serves as the Judicial Services Bureau Commander and Jail Administrator at the Hernando County Sheriff's Office. He has been working in the criminal justice field since 1997 and holds dual certification in both corrections and law enforcement. Throughout his career at the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, Major Klucznik has held several key positions, including Judicial Services Captain, Special Operations Captain, Detention Operations Lieutenant, Special Operations Lieutenant, and Acting Human Resources Director. Major Klucznik is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Session 283, and the American Jail Association's National Jail Leadership Command Academy, Class 10. He currently serves as President of the American Jail Association (2025–2026) and as a Commissioner on the Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission. He is also a Certified Jail Manager through the American Jail Association and a Certified Correctional Health Professional (CCHP) through the National Commission on Correctional Health Care. In addition, he was appointed by the Florida Sheriffs Association to serve as the Jail Administrator Representative on the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute Policy Board. In addition to his professional credentials, Major Klucznik holds an Associate of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from St. Petersburg College, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University, a Master of Arts Degree in Philosophy from Saint John Vianney College Seminary in Miami, and a Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice Education from the University of Virginia.
