Ms. Fuller began her career with the State of Florida in 1995 at the Department of Environmental Protection, working in Financial Management. Over the course of her more than 30 year career, she has served in progressively senior leadership roles across multiple state agencies, including the Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Community Affairs, the Office of the Attorney General, Department of State, and the Department of Financial Services.
She spent four years as Inspector General for the Department of Community Affairs before returning to the Department of Environmental Protection in August 2011 as Inspector General. In her current role, Ms. Fuller oversees all audit and investigative activities for the Department, including the supervision of investigations involving sworn law enforcement officers. Ms. Fuller also concurrently served as the Inspector General for the Department of State on two separate occasions.
Ms. Fuller holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Auburn University. She is a Certified Inspector General and a Certified Inspector General Investigator. She also serves as a board member for the Florida Association of Inspectors General.
A graduate of Florida State University with degrees in both Finance and Accounting, Ms. Leftheris has obtained the professional certifications of Certified Inspector General, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Certified Information Systems Auditor. She currently serves as Second Vice President for the Florida Association of Inspectors General, a member of the Leon County School Board Audit Committee and a previous member of the Commission for the Florida Commission for Law Enforcement Accreditation, Standards Interpretation and Review Committee.
She and her husband of 25 years, Jim reside in Tallahassee and have a daughter who is a student at Florida State University.
